Now that I'm somewhat over whatever sickness it is that I have, I'll write a bit about my Christmas :-)
Christmas eve, we had our family supper up at the rec center (we usually have it at my house, but since my grandfather's stroke, he's in a wheelchair and my house wasn't accessible so the committee lent us the rec for free) It was a really nice change! Of course there's never a year when something doesn't go wrong at our Christmas supper (last year i got hit in the head by the cork flyin off the wine...lol) this year no one got hurt.... haha just as we were all sittin down to start eating, my mom came out of the kitchen laughing... she had just asked if there was anything missing and low and behold, we forgot the turkey over at my nan's!! hahaha so mom and i had to run over (in the pouring rain) and get the 2 turkeys out of the oven to bring to the rec... haha (i just thought i'd explain that the rec center is up the street from my house and across the road from my nan's) other than that supper went very well. It was a bit awkward tho havin everyone at the same table since it's usually all of our aunts, uncles and parents at one table and chris and i and our cousins at another table...
After supper (and before cleaning up!) Chris, James, Steven and I sneaked out and came down here to my place where we just hung out and talked... we haven't done that in a LONG time... it was nice :-) James and Steven left around 11 and then since I had a fever and wasn't feel real great I went to bed. After trying to sleep for an hour and not being able to, I went upstairs to get a drink and my mom suggested I take some night time cold and flu medecine.... big mistake :-S For some reason, night time medecine has the complete opposite effects on me and it kept me up all night! After I finally did get to sleep for a couple of hours, I woke up at 5:30 and just laid in my bed all groggy and confused until about 7 when I finally heard my mom and dad up so I went upstairs. Now... you would think that the medecine would have worn off but no... haha I was so shaky when i went upstairs that i could hardly make it up the stairs! Then I tried to get a drink and i dropped the glass and I was really super confused about where I was... I think maybe there was more to this night time cold and flu medecine than the makers thought... haha anyway... around like... 7:30 christopher finally heard us all up in the kitchen (i made sure to talk extra loud so he'd get up cause i wanted to open presents!! lol) and we all sat in the kitchen for a little bit while he got a coffee and woke himself up... then we all went into the living room and opened our gifts :-D
I got a really nice pair of pjs from my mom and dad along with a bottle of perfume and a gift certificate for American Eagle.. my nan also got me a gift certificate to AE and I got a nice hat and scarf from my aunt and uncle in Ontario... My sock was full of really cool stuff this year accompanied by the traditional can of root beer and a super large candy cane :-P At 8:30 we had opened all of our gifts and even sat around and talked about past christmases (what the hell's the plural for christmas?? lol) So, I decided it was time to call mark's and go up there to open the rest of my presents!! haha I woke mark's mom up, but she wasn't upset at all...she likes how i'm so excited over christmas so she woke up right away and was like "do you want me to come get you??" lol i got my dad to drive me there instead and at like... 9 i tried to wake mark up to come downstairs and open presents... Mark, bein the lazy bum he is wanted us to wait another 15 minues... lol frigger :-P But we finally all sat down to open our gifts :-) From Mark, I got a pair of Winnie the Pooh pj's, a pink sheer T from AE that says "4 Aces Casino, Do you feel lucky?", a purplish pink angora sweater from AE, a thumbring from AE and a pair of jeans also from AE... his mom got me a sock full of nice stuff (including a gift certificate to dixie lee woot! woot! lol) and a pink angora beanie hat from AE and a green sheer T from AE that says "I got and A+ in French" with little lips beside it.. hehe Mark's sister gave me a gift certificate to shoppers and Shirley (she works for anne) (anne is mark's mother..lol) got me a winnie the pooh ornament for the christmas tree :-)
Mark got a PS2 with The Sims and some other game... an eye toy to go with his PS2, a briefcase for his laptop (from me!), the new Third Eye Blind cd (also from me...lol), a safe to keep secrets in, new scales that tell u your fat %age... (i'll never try it out... lol), money, clothes from AE, and lots of other things... :-)
Directly after opening gifts, I felt my fever come back super fast and I went to lay down... I slept until 3 that afternoon and when i woke up i was sweating, but freezing to death at the same time and that lasted until i came home at like 11:30pm.. :-( Today was an ok day, Steven came down and he and I and Mark played Monopoly... mark would have won, but he left too early.. .lol I have to work at 8 in the morning now, so I think i'm gonna go to bed seeing as its already 12:30.... So there! That was my Christmas... now everyone else blog about their christmas and we'll know all :-P haha later!!!

last night was so awesome! it was so great to see everyone at the OH... I think the highlight of my night was shoving "M.E" out into the middle of the road and swearing at him for tryin to be a dink.... haha
I drank quite a bit and didn't even really notice until I got back to mark's after bein' outside in the freezin cold... as soon as i laid down on the couch i felt the room startin to spin... lol
haha ANYWAYZ..... i worked until 11 tonight and at 25 to, this really dirty married couple comes in... i'm thinkin... ok, i still have to sweep and mop and i'm still finishing up the cash cause i had to change it when someone came into cash a check... i'll have lots of time to finish after these people leave.......... well...... it didn't quite work out that way... these people just happen to be the "skunk ridge gamblers" and when you're poor, being an avid gambler isn't easy... the friggers ended up buying 75 breakopen tickets *not all at once mind you... it took them a couple of minutes in between each batch to decide whether or not they should buy their kids christmas presents or spend it on tickets... which they obviuosly spent on the tickets...* the dirties ended up staying until like 3 to 11 and because of them i had to stay after and sweep and mop... now on a regular night i wouldn't mind that at all but since i went out last night, i wasn't feelin to great and had planned on leaving work at exactly 11... :-S ggrr.. haha
On another note... i have come up with a new name for B.Richard during the Christmas season... "The NutLacker" the only 3 people i told that to were mark, krista and kyla... so far it has received only laughs :-P haha I gtg
