Well, just saw that Amanda has updated her blog, and seeing fresh writers in the blogging community has once again sparked my lazy butt back to blog!

So the past few weeks have been pretty interesting :) Christmas was awesome! Mark bought me a platinum diamond necklace :D which is soooooo sweet i love it right to death! Mark also bought me the Gap Blue perfume which isn't even made anymore, he found a woman on ebay with new bottles of it!! AND --this is the 2nd best thing-- Mark and Anne got me the new slim ps2!! woot! woot! I can't wait to hook that baby up to the big screen when mom and dad go away!

New Years sucked arse this year... I ended up staying at my aunt Cathy's with her and Steven... Mark was there til just shortly after midnight but we didn't like yell happy new year or anything... it was kind of boring. Next year we will definitely make better plans and WAY in advance too!!

Starting back to school was A-1 cause I got to see the chickas :) But thank God we only have 2 classes with him this term.....

Only 4 days left until Christmas!!! :D

Had our Christmas dinner party at Mark's on Saturday and everything went really well :) There was sooo much food!! I'm gonna put up some pictures one of these days... Amanda's bf Steve took like 70 pictures! Anyway... we ate, we drank, we played charades, we took pictures then went out....... the going out part sucked butt tho since there were soooo many people out! It was a good time all in all however.

Anyway.. just wanted to blog and let everyone know i'm still alive... haha goin to get ready now to go to the mall with Mark!

I almost won the lottery tonight :S Checked my ticket and had 5/7 #'s on the super 7 which is like $100, but at the time, I thought it would be in the thousand dollar range... haha THEN come to find out that I really only have 4 #'s, not 5 since I can't count and I only won $10!! GRR haha hello for excitement goin out the window :(

Only 15 days until Christmas!!! Woot Woot! And only 8 days until mine and Mark's dinner party :) I'm so excited! I've done soo much work already for this party, it's going to be really nice! Unfortunately, we couldn't invite ALL our friends, since there wouldn't be enough room, so we have Chris & Julie, Amanda & Stephen, Katie & Clark and Vanessa & Joey coming...
I got a new shirt today for the party :) (2nd attempt! haha) It's a black halter top shirt and it's really long and flowy... I love it :)

Had a pretty good Halloween weekend.... started out friday night for my bday, Nikki, Vanessa, Nadia, Amanda, Julie, Christopher and Paige all came to Mark's house for some drinks and "thumbmaster" prior to going to the opera house... I got some really nice gifts from the girls! (and of course, my kamora from christopher..lol) Amanda and Julie got me the most awesome picture ever to put up in my room, it's of 4 kitties in red paint cans and there's red apples and red cherries on the floor in the picture, it's really cute cause it matches my new red plaid comforter that I got from mom and dad :) Nadia got me a really cute pair of pink winnie the pooh pj pants and a laundry basket which i have yet to lay eyes on.. (haha thought i was just drunk when she said that) Vanessa got me a really really cute purse, it's pink with a K on it in little jewels, and paiger got me a really sweet frame that says "girls night out" with a picture of her and I from Prom in it :)
Anyway, after drinking at marks (32 jello shots, 2 glasses of wine and 4 double white russians later for me..) we headed down to the OH where I quickly downed either 3 or 4 double purple hazes and about 45 minutes after getting to the bar, mark and i were on our way back home cause i was gonna be sick.. lol I dont remember too much about bein at the bar, but i'm sure I had a good time :D

Saturday night Mark and I went out to supper at Jungle Jims where I decided to be adventurous and order some queer new steak thing... it was OK... then we had this AWESOME desert... it was cheesecake in a pastry deepfried with whip cream and berry sauce on it... sooo yummy! After supper, we went to Nikki's place (she was havin a halloween party) and she totally decked out her house with awesome decorations :) we only stayed there for a little while cause we didn't really fit in with the rest of the crowd that was there... after we left her place, we went to the theater and watched the grudge... which i've been hearing was really great but i thought it sucked.... it was definitely creepy and make my skin crawl, but the storyline was really shitty... at the end of the movie, i sat there thinking "its over?" it seemed like it had just ended out of nowhere and I wasn't impressed......

Sunday we had a retirement party for a man at our church who has been around since before i can remember... i got to present him a gift from all the catechists which was pretty nice... then i passed out some treats to my kindergarten kids before sending them home on their sugar-rushes.. haha

Whew! It's been a busy week! First of all, last weekend my aunt Cathy got a kitten!! She asked me if she could name him patches after my kitty *tear* Of course I said yes, and the new Patches is SOOOO adorable!! As soon as mark helps me figure out how to load the pictures from my phone onto the computer i'll have some pics up :)

Cathy and I went to see Ladder 49 Monday night... SOOO GOOOD!! If you haven't seen it yet, GO see it because it's an awesome movie! I loved it :) Tuesday was an eventful day... It was Vanessa's BDAY!! Happy B-day Ness!! ;) Ness and I had originally planned on goin out to dinner, but those plans just didn't work out so i ended up doing my scenerio for ed's class instead... which nadia and i did pretty good on Wednesday morning :) Got my mid-term report on Wednesday... Also got my mid-term back from Shannon's class and did WAY better than I thought I was going to, seeing as how I did the midterm the same day it was due, when it was given to us like 2 weeks before to take home and do.. haha.. I got an 82% which was high compared to the class average.. I'm happy with that. haha Wednesday before going to work for 5pm, Mark and I went to Paige's house so I could drop off a birthday card for Paige's little sister Shanice (there are a LOT of bdays the end of october..lol) Anywayz... we dropped that off and as we were driving up george street about to pull onto the street that comes out beside harkins, there were a bunch of little boys on their bikes hangin out in the field.. they started running toward mark's car, giving the shocker with both hands in the air yelling "WICKED CAR!!" LMAO i almost died laughing it was soooo funny!
Anyway...!! 6 minutes until my bday! haha I'm wide awake, too excited to sleep ;) I already got two presents already, a teddy bear from Shirley and 2 shirts from mark, that I LOVE!!! :D The night is full of eventful activities, I can't wait to get stanked!!! I'm gonna go now before I die of a heartattack getting overexcited for the events... lol

I finally got my license! It only took 4 years of having my permit and not driving... lol I'm super excited even though I don't have a car or insurance to drive anything now...

other than that, a lot has happened since I last blogged, but seeing as how i'm senile, there's no way I can write about it cause I totally forget! haha

only 2 weeks until I turn 20 :S Not looking forward to being in the 20's... but looking forward to a good party!! Since my Bday's on a friday this year its gonna be a HARDCORE drinking weekend :D Everyone who reads this-- Come out and celebrate!!! :D (unless I don't like you!! haha) ANYWAYZ...... thats all for now.. gotta go find mark!

Mark and I went to watch "Wicker Park" tonight... it was a pretty good movie. There were a lot of plot twists which made it interesting, but too many plots going on at once kinda made it confusing at the same time, overall I would rate it 3.5 stars (that being out of 5) We had the great misfortune of sitting in front of a group of 13 year old girls who wouldn't shut the hell up... I seriously don't remember ever being THAT cocky at 13... what is the world coming to?? haha

anyway, i'm really tired so that's all I'll write tonight. Just getting into the habit of updating often... Have a good one!

wow... over a month since my last blog! well, where should i start? This past week I had been staying at Mark's place since my relatives from Ontario were staying in my room. That was fun, cause I ended up getting to hang out with Krista and Vanessa more in that 1 week than I have all summer... lol Plus I got to see mark every morning and play ps2 all day!!! (which btw, we finally beat the getaway and GTA3!!!) *thanks to me... eh mark?? haha* Anyway, while staying at my house, my uncle (who's almost 70 and going a tad senile) decided he wouldn't shower (for some godly unknown reason!!!!!!) so now my room stinks really bad :S I'm waiting for a carpet cleaner, and I'm even contemplating ripping out my carpet altogether and demanding to have a floating floor put down instead... haha they're so nice!

In the past week I've gone out twice and have been UBER drunk... to the point of even falling off the bed.... lol Both were awesome times tho :) Last night was a girls night out (except was crashed by joey showin up!! J/K), Ness and Krista and I met up at Marks for a drink and then Mark drove us to the OH where we sat upstairs and drank and had FREE nachos!! (who knew the nachos are free until 12pm??!!) haha we also did a lot of reminiscing from HS days which felt really good to just sit back and talk about stupid things that have happened over the years. We're almost to the point where we can look back and say "remember 10 years ago, when we all met?" which is CRAZY!!! haha These past few years have gone by sooo fast it's hard to believe that everyone was right when they told us that after highschool the years just melt together and fly by......... as Justin told me today: "where have u been the last 5 years??" LOL we were fighting over which # of Big Shiny Tunes cd would be out this year... haha I was wrong. Anywayz, it's really nice to be putting old fights behind us now and realizing how stupid we were. This whole maturing process is starting to look interesting... haha NOT that i'll ever fully mature!!

yeah, so what else has happened............. hmmm worked the folksong festival, that was a lot of fun. Went to the BH almost every night and drank a lot of draft. I am slowing adjusting to the taste, it's not TOO bad... haha one night we went out (we= Mark, myself, Christopher and Julie) and Mark was ID'd buying water at the BH while the rest of us bought actual drinks and weren't ID'd at all.. (haha mark :P) no real point to this paragraph... onto the next!

I've been learning to drive lately... well, not really "learning" cause i know how, i just need a lot more practice before I try to get my license (cross your fingers everyone!)

School starts in like... 6 days :S yikes! About a month ago I was like "ok, summers' over now, i'm ready to go back" and now that it's time to go back I feel as though summer went by way too fast and I'm not ready at all! I guess the same goes for a lot of things in life though... just when you think you're getting bored of something, you realize how much it means when you have little time left.... but I'm not about to go off on a tangent with that topic... haha

Wow, its quarter to 3 in the morning. Mark has me on a late-night, sleep in routine and I hate that since It's so close to school time again and I'm gonna have to be getting up at 7... Maybe i'll practice getting up early the next few days (not tomorrow though...haha) we'll see how it goes...

Watched Big Brother 5 on the live feed tonight, got to see the double eviction nomination ceremony LIVE!! it was pretty awesome, but in case who ever is reading this doesn't know who's nominated yet and doesn't want to know, I'm not gonna say........ (you're welcome)

well, I think that's enough blog for now... I might start blogging more since I'll have a better routine everyday goin to school and all... keep posted! haha have a good one

Went out last night with Ness, Mark, Kari & Dougie (mark's sister & her husband) and Andrew.. (mark's cousin from Ottawa) It was an OK night... got pretty drunk, but luckily am not hungover today! haha We headed over to ChooChoo's for ladies night and saw some interesting characters... I thought goin to the OH on a Wednesday and seein all the crazy old ladies was funny, but too cc's on a thursday, the OH just does NOT compare! lol
Got to see Jen, who I think I only ever see when I'm out drinking... which means i see her quite often.... haha Also saw Natasha Parks... Vanessa and I were sitting around the "dance floor" when angie walsh came over to ask Ness about Joey's mom and Natasha came over with her. As did some other tall skinny ugly chick who I can't remember her name... but Natasha was pretty agitated swearing that she was going to "kill that bitch after the bar" and to "stick around if u want to see a good fight" I asked her what the fuss was all about and that's when she proceeded to tell me all about her babys (yes, she has 2 it has been confirmed) daddy giving her youngest kid shake a baby syndrome or whatever it is and the girl she wanted to kill was telling everyone that it was her who shook her baby... frig, i bet they both took turns shaken the baby to see if "shakenbaby syndrome" was real or not.... that is one person who should definitely NOT have kids...................

Anywayz... thats my rant for today :S I must go shower and get ready for work now!

another day of work....... too bad it wouldn't just friggin POUR rain.. haha this is my 3rd day in a row working and I know you're all like, "3 days in a row? i wish i had that job"  but seriously, sitting down at the boat rentals all day dealin with a million kinds of bugs crawlin all over ya for 9 hours and havin to deal with little bastards that don't stop screaming and crying starts to get at ya in 3 days.. haha  usually our schedules are 2 days on, 2 days off but we had a "special" day at the cove where everyone had to work on Sunday, so since that happened to be scheduled on one of my days off, I had to work 3 in a row...

another thing i've noticed is weird bruises popping up all over me... haha i dont even know how i got them, but they're there! there are 3 on my right leg, 1 on my left leg and 1 on my left arm and a big scratch at the top of my right leg as well :S  I wonder if anyone else at work is getting this beat up from the boats??

Well, this was just a quick post before I leave for work... I started one last week about Mark's and my trip to Halifax but it was getting too long so I made it a draft and never got back to it. I may or may not post it soon... haha I'll probably write another blog later tonight or something... we'll see!

My wife uses fabric softener. I never knew what that stuff was for.. Then I noticed women coming up to me, sniffing,then saying under their breath, "Married!" and walking away. Fabric softeners are how our wives mark their territory. We can take off the ring. But, it's hard to get that April Fresh scent out of your clothes. 

Men and women are different in the morning. We men wake up aroused in the morning.. We can't help it. We just wake up and we want you. And the women are thinking, "How can he want me the way I look in the morning?" It's because we can't see you. We have no blood anywhere near our optic nerve. 

You know those shows where people call in and vote on different issues? Did you ever notice there's always like 18% that say "I don't know," It costs 90 cents to call up and vote and they're voting "I don't know." Give me the phone. (Says into the phone) "I DON'T KNOW!" (Hangs up looking proud.) "Sometimes you have to stand up for what you believe you're not sure about." This guy probably calls up phone sex girls for $2.95 to say, "I'm not in the mood."

My wife's from the Midwest. Very nice people there. Very wholesome. They use words like 'Cripes'. 'For Cripes sake,' Who would that be; Jesus Cripes? The son of 'Gosh' of the church of 'Holy Moly'? I'm not making fun of it. You think I wanna burn in 'Heck'? 

My grandmother has a bumper sticker on her car that says, 'Sexy Senior Citizen.' You don't want to think of your grandmother that way, do you? Out entering wet shawl contests. Makes you wonder where she got that dollar she gave you for your birthday.

Did you ever hear one of these corny positive messages on someone's answering machine? "Hi, it's a great day and I'm out enjoying it right now. I hope you are too. The thought for the day is: "Share the love." BEEP "Uh, yeah...this is the VD clinic calling....Speaking of being positive,your test results are back. Stop sharing the love.."

This weekend was soo awesome, Mark and I finally went to Halifax!! We went to the Casino, where mark won $540 on the slots and I won a meezly $35... haha but we split the money, so it all worked out for the better :)  We also visited Pacifico which I love!!!! I'd never been there before, since I was only 18 when I lived in Hali and I didn't have a fake id, so going this time made it all the better :)  Anyway, while we were at the club, I informed the bartender how to make a teddy bear (usually kamora and créme de bananes) but since they didn't have any kamora she made it with Baileys and it was the best drink I've ever had.........
 
We also went shopping at both the MicMac Mall and the Halifax Shopping Center... while over at Winners, we observed a kid riding in a motorized shopping cart being told that he couldn't do that. He immediately got out of the thing and walked up an aisle, shouting out to his friends sayin "GUYS, common' we gotta go, I got caught" haha he was a pretty cool lad....   There were LOTS of good sales at the halifax SC.... namely at AE... haha I bought 6 shirts and a skirt for $100...... that's pretty damn good for AE! Most of the shirts were from the discount rack (which is more up to date than the recent stock in moncton...) and my skirt was too cute not to get.. haha Once we got to Moncton on the way home, I bought another skirt just like the one I bought in Hali, only white instead of Jeans!

I can't wait to go again next summer :)

What a crazy past few days!  First of all, I want everyone to know that I just got my letter in the mail today, i am OFFICIALLY a member to the Scottish Dance Teachers Alliance!!!! I passed my exam :D  I've been so nervous waiting for this letter and now that it has finally came I can't believe the relief I feel knowing I passed!! Another good point to know officially being a dance teacher, is being able to use those initials after my name! lol I'll have to make up some useless business cards: "Kelly LeBlanc, A.S.D.T.A" haha
 
Last night was a crazy time with the girls... well, I'll start with Tuesday I guess.. haha I stayed up at vanessa's house tuesday night, we watched "the perfect score" and just talked about old times and cried over the last episode of 90210 (for the hundredth time!! haha)  Then Wednesday, we explored downtown... haha First I had to go to the bank, then we went for lunch at the coffee oasis. Now, if you were to read "all sandwiches served with chips" would you think fries were the "chips"?? Cause we did! Stupid us :S haha it wasn't even good chips that we got either, they were the cheap kind..........
 
Anywayz... after lunch we went to siddals where i got a new battery for my watch. The chick put it in without even asking me if i wanted to buy one or not, i was just inquiring as to whether or not I could have it fixed there since the watch is from towers and they're out of business... she just took my watch put in a new battery and came back out with the watch! I was totally freakin cause i thought i was gonna have to pay like $50 which i did NOT want to do, but it turned out to only be like $7 so it was alright.. haha
 
Eventually, we made our way over to Glamour where we both had appointments with Amy to get our hair done. Originally I had planned on just getting my hair trimmed, but after flipping through some cool magazines and discussing my options with vanessa, I decided to go where i've never gone before... haha a bold hair color! It looks awesome, I got blood red panels and really light blond ones and I love it!! :D  oh!! Note to all the girls::  There is a store in the Total U Complex (behind Jean Coutu) on the 3rd floor, called "just because" It's owned/operated by interior designer April Walsh who is awesome! You should see the stuff she has in there, I'm seriously thinking about going back and getting some stuff :)  I have her business card here if anyone wants her phone number or whatever, but u should all seriously go check out her merchandise cause she has a lot of cool stuff! (not only for decorating either!)
 
Anyway... after getting our hair done, we got a drive to Paiges house with Kyla (who we met up with at Jean Coutu) ** and kyla, i hope you seriously nutpunched whoever let your cat out!!**
at Paige's house we waited around for Ashley, and Krista showed up for a visit then we headed down to the liquor store before starting our BBQ...  upon returning to Paige's house, Mom had already started the BBQ (WE LOVE YOU!)  so we all sat around drinkin and eating and talking, it felt SOO good to be back with the girls ;) After getting ready we all left for the OH (Minus Krista who got lost running errands!) It wasn't the best wednesday night i've had at the OH but it was decent none the less... there was a really funny white girl with poofy hair dancin with some native girls and she was the highlight of the night i would say... especially when she got in the cage...... EEW!! lol Around 1am we decided to call it quits so paige, ness and i walked to subway... once in line and contemplating what to have i decided that i didn't want break so we left subway and found our way to Tim Hortons where I had soup... haha best thing ever when you're drunk!! lol Once finished we took the scary walk back to Paige's and called a cab I was home and in bed before 2:30 :)
 
This morning the weather was AWESOME!! i love the rain! haha I only loved it cause it meant that yours truly didn't have to go to work yet still got paid.... I LOOOVVEE bein on a grant!

i got the BEST news ever today!!!!!!! I have a 5 day weekend next weekend so guess who's headin to HALIFAX??!!!!!! Mark and I are goin to stay in the casino :D I'm sooo friggin excited, it's been a year since I"ve been down there and I am gonna party like its 1999!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week is going by way too fast! So far I've had 4 days off in the last 6 days.. haha I work today from 11-8 and then I have tomorrow off :) I think Mark and I may be going to Moncton tomorrow, however nothing is for certain yet.

Like I said before, I've been housesitting this week in douglastown. The Blanchards come home on Sunday night and that will be a relief. I don't like having to worry about the puppy all the time and he pees SO MUCH! haha I might go get him and bring him down to the cove with me today since it looks like rain...

If we go to Moncton, we probably won't go out Saturday night, or maybe we'll be home early enough to go out. I find out today if I work on Sunday or not, so we'll see...

Steven just went home, he came down to hang out while I put together my "junk food" cabinet... haha it consists of some veggie thin crackers, some handi snack crackers & cheese, 12 cans of tropicana twister fruity red juice, swedish berries, sour patch kids, gushers, a shake and make santa, some starburst, reg. and sour cream and bacon chips and of course, the best jelly bellies :) I may add some liquor later on to make it a bit "spicier" haha

Steven and I were discussing how we both like to cook now, when he informed me of his reason for liking to cook... haha "I used to think it was hard to cook, i was amazed that my mother could make fucking pork chops!" was the exact sentence... lol steven's a funny bum tonight

Well, this past weekend was one of the best! I worked my last 2 shifts at Neva's and now i'm officially done there!! woot! woot! It's kinda sad, since I'll miss some of the people I got to see all the time, but my new job is WAY better :)

I'll tell about the weekends events starting with friday.... I worked at the cove from 11-8 then mark and i went to dixie lee to get some supper :) Then I came home and got in the shower. Once I was out of the shower, Maryann and her dad were here :D So Maryann and I caught up on stories and got ready to go to the OH. Mark came to pick us up and we left here around 11 or so and went straight to the OH. We only had 1 purple haze each and then we sat around until about 12:30 when we finally called it a night and went home... I was pretty tired and we just went so she could see where we were goin the next night, since it's less busy on fridays... haha Then we came home and went to bed... mind you we stayed up talking until 2:30... haha saturday morning Mar's dad came to get her at 10 and they went over to the dragstrip, I got ready for work and then went down to the boats. I was there from 11-2 and then I came home to get ready to go up to the store where I worked until 11. After work, I walked down to Mark's where Maryann met us, we had a couple of drinks there and then walked down to the OH. At the OH, Maryann and I had a few more drinks and then shared a grog for the second time in my life. It's really good, but close to the end it was getting pretty sickening, so I let her have the rest and I left to get a purple haze... haha We danced to a couple of songs, but mostly just walked around and talked to people. I saw Nadia and got to talk to her for a couple of minutes, I hadn't seen her in so long! After the OH, we stood outside for awhile and then at 2:30 we walked up to Pizza twice. While waiting in line for our pizza, an old man behind us was being asked what his name was so that they knew who to call out for his order when he asked the girl working if she wanted to know his SIN # as well just to order a pizza. haha He then proceeded to tell her that his name was Tom Jones, I bet if we were to look, there's a warrant out for his arrest.. haha I took a lot of pictures with my phone as well, I have one of Tom Jones mentioned above. Haha.. After we got our pizza we were sitting down talking to Mike Underhill and his girlfriend Miranda, they were having some donair fingers when Mike offered one to Maryann (who is a vegetarian) haha after declining, he told her that donair meat wasn't really meat, it was probably just dead cats as if that would be a reason to eat it :S haha

We then decided to get a taxi back to mark's place, so we called one then went to stand outside. While we were out there, a native woman (probably in her 40's) was sitting on the steps when like 4 cop cars came in... she was a bit worried about that cause I think they went over to talk to her... Anyway, our taxi came and we were walking over to get in it, when the native woman came right over and tried to get in our taxi! I was still standing outside the taxi, holding onto the open door, when she came right up and was like "you have to let me in there, the cops are gonna start asking me all these questions, I need to get out of here" hahaha being as drunk as I was, I told her we weren't going to red bank, we were going in the other direction and she couldn't come.. she wouldn't take that for answer so I had to not-so-politely tell her that she wasn't getting in our taxi, when mark mentioned to her that there was another taxi about 10ft away that she could have. She then left in search of the other taxi and we got in the cab and went back to marks... haha As soon as we got to mark's mar's dad called from the hotel and wanted to come pick her up, so we waited for him and then she went back to the hotel. Mark and I stayed up until like 5:30 before finally going to sleep!

We had a pretty good time and Maryann had a lot of fun which is good!!! I was really glad to see her, since I hadn't in such a long time :D Anyway... That's all for now.. I'm housesitting in douglastown this week, so I dunno if i'll be online a lot or not... we'll see!

Gotta go do some laundry now, i'm all out of clean underwear :P haha TTYL

Tonight, Mark and I watched the fireworks from his roof :) I took some pictures with my phone that I may post whenever I get around to making a website... haha
I worked at the cove today, painting little kids faces for canada day... i was only supposed to work from 4-8 since really, today was my day off, but Jackie (my boss) called and asked if i could go in for 1 so i did. Tara Waye and I ended up painting the kids faces from 1:30 until 4pm... it was crazy, there was a line up the WHOLE time and the kids were asking for retarded stuff that i had no idea how to draw... haha one kid would ask for a cat and i would give them a pink nose and a couple of grey whiskers, and then another would ask for a dog so i would give them a black nose and grey whiskers... LOL then... this poor doll wanted to be spiderman.. he wasn't even two so i painted his whole face red with a few black lines... i hope he was convinced he looked like spider man :S After the kids all left, Tara and I worked in the dairy bar until about 7:50 when we closed up a bit early and went home...

Well, i'm tired so I'm going to go to bed... Maryann is coming this weekend!!!!!!! Everyone go out Saturday night!
